Join me for an unforgettable evening as we photograph the transition from sunset to starlight and explore the creative possibilities of the night. As daylight fades, we’ll learn how to balance the remaining glow of the sky with the emerging stars, creating images that showcase the beauty of the landscape after dark.
Throughout the evening, you’ll discover techniques for capturing stunning nightscapes, creating mesmerizing star trails, and adding your own artistic touch through light painting. Whether you’re looking to master the technical side of long exposures or simply want to experiment and expand your creativity, this workshop offers a supportive and inspiring environment to learn and grow.
Photographers of all experience levels are welcome. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of camera settings, focusing in the dark, and creating successful long exposures, while more advanced photographers will have opportunities to refine their techniques, explore creative concepts, and push their images to the next level.
Our adventure will take place in and around the Monksville Reservoir area of New Jersey, a beautiful location that offers open skies, scenic landscapes, and excellent opportunities for night photography. Come ready to learn, experiment, collaborate, and create images that reveal the magic that happens after the sun goes down.
