Light The Night: Central Park

Join me Central Park for a hands-on exploration of light painting portraits — where creativity meets technique and every frame becomes a canvas of imagination.

In this immersive photowalk, you’ll learn how to blend ambient light, color, and motion to create stunning luminescent portraits that reveal both your subject, your artistic voice and the NYC Environment.

Through demonstration and guided practice, we’ll cover:

✨ The ABCD’s of Light Painting with Hands-On Experimenting.

  • Practice with a variety of light painting tools (tubes, wands, and custom modifiers).

  • Work with a live model under different lighting conditions to master focus, exposure, and timing.

You’ll leave with both beautiful, one-of-a-kind portraits and a technical foundation to continue creating light-painted images on your own.

Let’s light up the park, learn together, and create something extraordinary.

Meeting Location: South End
